Space
Space segment covers all needs of the Services and Internal security agencies for geo-location, navigation, surveillance and detection, communication and broadcast. In the broader sense, the segment would cover all space borne and ground based assets of ISRO and SAC, which manage and provide these assets to all users (civil and military). Land based, Land Mobile, hand held, airborne and shipborne Terminal Equipment for Positioning and Satellite communication systems would also fall in this segment.
